Goodness the ducklings have gotten so much bigger in just a single week! Before and After photos to show size!
Mr Hansom working on painting with his color of paint but it was supposed to be a bright green, not a yellow!
Spring cleaning of the childrens room comes with a room make over. Lots of color. Each of the children picked a color and so we went to work painting. Next time I will be more mindful not to let the 3 year old paint in her favorite pants though! LOL
With things finally getting warmer again, time for a much needed park day. When things feel heavy, hard, it helps me sometimes to just get out in nature. The kids can play and I can let the weight of the world go for a bit. -happy sigh-
And suddenly it is cold again hailing. Spring please hurry our way!
Supermoon! Not a great photo but I tried. It was a beautiful night and I enjoyed some peaceful time with the hotty husband under this moon. Swooon.
Spring in the neighborhood. Maryland is beautiful, though I think we are all missing the big views of the Arizona high desert.
My phone. My Cat. My attempt at trying to NOT get the whole photo in focus!
Ducklings drying after they hatch, they hatched over a few days. All that hatched thrived!

We started with 18 eggs, 4 of them where not fertile, 1 grew bacteria, 1 was an early loss. So at the 2 week mark we where down to 12 eggs. 8 of them hatched over 4 days and the last 4 never did hatch. We hope to try again and get a better percent. […]
Our ducks are almost ready to hatch!
A month of dieting and a lot of weight let go of. A long way to go for this Mama but there really is little choice. A few friends are helping to inspire, Heather and Lexi for sure, and Janice with all her healthy choices and information. I am reminded that I need to be […]
Game nights are wonderful, specially for our littles who while great with numbers are still trying to grasp letters. We really like this game, everyone feels like they have won and changing the rules to fit the different levels is easy to do so it keeps our oldest interested and challenged as well. On the […]
I thought a Dino Dig toy might be too hard for our 5 year old. Mr. Hansom however was sure he could do it. It has been going at it a little bit every few days with help and over sight from anyone he can get to watch him. He even helps to clean up […]
Smile baby is 10 months old. She is such a blessing. She has the army crawl down and loves to make her own obstacle courses and little caves. She has such wonderful smiles, this one is a favorite of ours.
My wonder husband is amazing on many levels, one of them happens to be his magical knowing of just when I need random roses. I am not sure my love language is gifts, but the thought he puts into them… it means so much. What is your love language? Have you done something random as […]
365 FAIL DAY! Not all my photos will be listed on the day taken… simply put, reality bites. Much like my stormbaby! Not every day will lend itself to a moment for a photo or two. To make up for this, I will add photos from other days that I think are cute. You can […]
One last trip to Borders. 10 years ago Borders for a book was my idea of a fantastic day. 5 years ago it give or take it became Barnes and Noble for a book and coffee. Today, while I still love going to B&N I buy most of my books on Amazon. However when I […]
Lego Land! Hopepixie was thrilled to learn when we got here that the local homeschool umbrella group we are part of has a class at Lego Land! It is a robotics type of class and she loves it. She still loves the basic legos and kits though and this is the one she came home […]
