This book about growing culinary herbs is fantastic. It is put together simply for those of us who might not have the green thumbs we wish we did. I specially love this book because in the house we moved to we are going to do more indoor than out door growing and I needed advice on this.
I found this book is 85 pages of helpfulness. It starts out with the basics and then digs deep to help you grow specific herbs in the way that is best for them. I learned that the biggest reason I kill house plants is because I over water them and that watering is not something you do on the same day ever week but rather it is all about feeling the soil and knowing the plant. I learned what plants I learned how to properly harvest and store herbs. I have books and books on plants and growing and yet I swear I learned more from this one than all the others! It is well written, clean, with nice photos and so many ideas and tips.
