Spiegel Style and The Crunchy Mommy

 Spiegel in my opinion is the style go to site for those who know fashion and those who don’t and those who may have forgotten what style means beyond burp rags and designer baby bags.

 This might come as a shock but I am not a fashion goddess. While I am happy to pay more for quality, often when it comes to my own attire I am lost as to where to start. You can find me in long skirts, cotton blouse tops and bare feet. With my hair to my waist you can picture I look a bit like the tree huger I am. This is not what I tend to where when I go out though, often I am stuck in jeans in silky tops, this can work for grocery shopping but what about dates with my husband, or friends, and business events? I admit my closet is rather sparse. So I am not telling anyone to take fashion advice from me but you might however find some perfect items from Spiegel. Why? Because since 1905 they have been bringing fashion to America. They know what is on the run ways in France and they know what is in style.

   Now to share with you some of the pieces I love from them at the moment.

One of the special things about Spiegal is that they have a petite line and a plus size line. 
For my more frugal readers they also have some fantastic sales and specials and a great clearance section too! It is always a special kind of fun to get wonderful looking quality items for a fraction of what they cost normally.
For those of use who can not wait for clearance, they still wonderful sales, the one I am looking at today states that if you spend $150, you get $90 back. That is 60%! Enough to catch my attention, and most of the women I know.
In the crunchy mothering world we have all types, but most of us know that quality costs and we are happy to pay. Some talented among us know this to be true for their own fashion as well. For the rest of us though who need a bit of a nudge to be good to ourselves I think the sales provide that. Every time I look at the site it seems they are catering to those of us who need that nudge with some great sales to help us be kind to ourselves. So many of you are martyr like in how much you sacrifice for your children. I am not one of them, I am merely a style overwhelmed and lost girl. I think though that that this site can help with both issues, it can inspire those like me, and help the martyr moms take better care of themselves with less guilt. It can help the already stylish crunchy Moms find the newest and best trends too.
