Mom Is Not Ready For School

    Dear Moms,
I can only hope that you are more ready for school than I am. Summer has been chaotic here with a lot of travel and adventure and that is not soon to stop either. We are off again on an adventure to the southern part of the country for the next few weeks to bask on the beach, play with family, and all 4 of my children will be in Aunties wedding. A wedding I still do not have the right shoes for them for, never mind the new school shoes they are going to need! I wish I could find a nice pair of while Clarks for my sons summer wedding uniform. I don’t seem to have enough time to finish things up for the wedding and school time starts right after that for most of us.
Why do homeschooled children need new school cloths you might be wondering? Because they don’t just school at home. They have home school groups, field trips, and lessons to go to ranging from language to dance to Lego robotics. They do need new clothing, it is a great time for fall shopping and helps when we can hit sales. My little sister says she has been shopping for the children already and I think we are all interested in seeing what she picked out. She has good fashion sense as it turns out. Goodness knows her son is always dressed so very well considering he is a toddler and toddlers do one thing very well, make a mess of their clothing!
I really must look past the vacationing and get ready for school. I just am not ready yet and not used to feeling this behind. I need to list all the clothing they have, they are getting, and that they need. I need to list all the supplies we have, are already ordered, and will need. I still have not solidly decided on all the curriculum we will be using even. I hope your having a better time of all this than I am.
I have to post this because my friends joke about how organized I am about such things. If only they could see me know! So here I am going to have to scramble at the very end to make everything work. Wish me luck me ok!
     All the best,
     Kimberly
